WORKSAFELY™: A call to action every day

WORKSAFELY™, delivered by the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association, is a series of programs offered and supported by our organization to enhance construction safety practices across Manitoba.

The name WORKSAFELY™ represents all that we stand for and aim to convey.  It is a fundamental call to action, expressed to share a core message that spreads awareness to every organization and individual in our industry. It also represents our unwavering dedication to our partners to help create both compliant and compassionate cultures of safety to ensure the health and well being of employees, and the public.

Our programs are delivered through strong partnerships and experienced staff who have a passion for safe practice education, and are supportive and proactive in helping others become safety leaders:

• We provide comprehensive workplace health and safety training and programs under contract with the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB)
• We deliver the Certificate of Recognition (COR™) program, Canada’s national standard for construction safety programs, is delivered in alliance with the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations
• We are hosting the first annual Heavy Construction EXPO: Building Workforce Excellence in March 2012.
• As co-founders, we are an integral part of the SAFE Roads campaign with the WCB, Manitoba’s private/public sector partnership road safety awareness program.
