The B.C. RB&HCA is a non-profit organization that represents firms involved in asphalt and concrete manufacturing, grading, paving, utility construction, road and bridge building/maintenance, among others.

The SHCA is a voice for the heavy construction industry, as well as a service centre for members to stay current with tenders, technology, regulations and other changes in the industry.

Canadian Construction Association (CCA)

CCA, founded in Ottawa in 1918, now represents more than 20,000 members, in firms drawn from 63 local and provincial integrated partner associations. CCA gives voice to the public policy, legal and standards development goals of contractors, suppliers and allied business professionals working in, or with, Canada’s non-residential construction industry.

Western Canada Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association

The roots of WCR&HCA date to 1943, when the Manitoba and Saskatchewan heavy construction associations founded the Prairie Roadbuilders Association to bring a western voice to national infrastructure investment issues. Alberta and B.C. later joined, and the organization was rebranded. It settled on its current name in 1996.

The Consulting Engineers of Manitoba are now officially the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Manitoba. The purpose of the ACEC is to further the maintenance of high professional standards in the consulting engineering profession and to promote cordial relations among the various consulting
firms in Manitoba, among other things.
