Chris Lorenc, MHCA President and CEO, and Felicia Wiltshire, MHCA Vice-President, will each serve on Premier Wab Kinew’s Business and Job Council subcommittees, the province announced in a news release on Jan.15.
Lorenc has been appointed to the Trade Diversification – Internal and International Trade subcommittee and Wiltshire has been appointed to the Education, Training and Workforce Development subcommittee.
These appointments reflect positively on MHCA and the constructive role our association continues to play in shaping Manitoba’s economic future.
Since its creation, the Premier’s Business and Jobs Council has provided advice that has helped inform key government initiatives, including Manitoba’s economic development strategy, efforts to strengthen trade relations with China and the U.S., and actions to support clean energy, productivity and job creation.
The MHCA congratulates both Lorenc and Wiltshire on these well-deserved appointments.
