The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association is asking members and its community partners to donate to the appeals for help as wildfire evacuees continue to resettle in Winnipeg and other communities.
Manitoba is going through unprecedented wildfires that have displaced roughly 17,000 Manitobans from their homes to date, and it’s not over. Each of us has an opportunity to help make a difference and support fellow Manitobans in need.
Organizations assisting in the emergency resettlement of Manitobans fleeing northern communities have lists of items most in need. The Canadian Red Cross, among them, is asking that those looking to help make monetary donations.
