TDS Law hosts ‘Working with MTI’ seminar

Lawyers Meghan Ross and Maggie Spezzano from TDS Law hosted an in-person seminar called ‘Working with MTI.’ This session helped attendees understand, navigate and apply the Province of Manitoba’s general conditions.

The presentation focused on three areas when working with MTI: early considerations, general conditions and liens. Ross and Spezzano covered the key features of these general conditions and discussed best practices to consider for any projects.

Key takeaways from the presentation include ensuring you have proper documentation and a good paper trail, understanding if something is considered extra work and ensuring proper review of defined terms. Attendees received the slide presentation, post-seminar, for their records and review.

The MHCA and TDS Law are offering an in-person seminar to help you understand Manitoba’s new prompt payment rules on May 2. Register here.
