2024-2025 Winter Seasonal Weights
Each year during the winter season, the province allows an increase in axle weights on all provincial highways and an increase in vehicle weights on specific provincial highways. The Winter Seasonal Weights (WSW) program includes: Winter Weight Premiums (WWP), Winter Seasonal RTAC Routes Designation and Winter Seasonal Class A1 Highways Designation.
MTI starts monitoring the weather on November 1st of each year to determine if an earlier start date or later end date are possible for any climate zone. New order(s) are released for an earlier start date or later end date in any zone.
