Premier Brian Pallister announced his new cabinet Wednesday, returning Ron Schuler as minister of Infrastructure. Schuler has been Infrastructure minister since 2017.
“We congratulate Mr. Schuler for his reappointment to the Infrastructure portfolio and are happy for the continuity to the good work we are doing in collaboration with Manitoba Infrastructure,” MHCA President Chris Lorenc said.
The new cabinet sees a number of portfolios renamed and new ministers appointed. There no longer is a Department of Growth, Enterprise and Trade. Blaine Pedersen now is the Minister of Agriculture and Resource Development, focused on agriculture and natural resources, including aggregate resources.
