Provincial quarry rehab program for 2024 posted

The Manitoba Mines Branch has posted the program for quarry rehabilitation for 2024.

Applications must be submitted online by September 16, 2024.

“It is the fifth intake of the Quarry Rehabilitation on Private and Municipal Land Program to rehabilitate depleted quarries and pits on private and municipal land. Funding will be available through the program for landowners needing to do rehabilitation work on these lands, with each successful applicant eligible for up to $200,000 in assistance.”

200 members and guests gathered to hear greetings from Premier Heather Stefanson and the newly elected Mayor of Winnipeg, Scott Gillingham. Hon. Doyle Piwniuk, Minister, Manitoba Infrastructure, handed out the MTI Awards.

31 companies were recognized for their milestone membership commitments.

Matthew Neziol, of Bayview Construction, received the Safety Leader Award.
