A big hello and Happy New Year.
I am thrilled to join the MHCA WORKSAFELY® team, having started in the position of Director December 18. Stepping into this role is an honour, and I am excited to continue the outstanding legacy left by Don Hurst, a legend in the safety industry.
Returning to my roots in the heavy construction industry feels like a homecoming, especially given my family’s background in redi-mix concrete. With a passion for teamwork and a deep commitment to contributing to the growth and success of our organization, I am eager to get started, serving our industry and your companies.
One of my key goals is to foster a culture of innovation, particularly in the crucial areas of safety and health. There are numerous exciting opportunities ahead, and I am enthusiastic about exploring new ideas and initiatives that will benefit each and every one of us.
In the coming weeks, we will be launching a member survey focused on our WORKSAFELY™ program. I am genuinely looking forward to hearing from you, our valued members. Your feedback will be invaluable in better understanding your safety needs and, together, we can enhance our safety services and training.
