Nomination for 2024 Safetys

STAYING IN TOUCH: JACQUELYN ODURO

The Safetys is an annual awards gala intended to recognize significant contributions to occupational safety and health in Manitoba. This year, the event will be held in person, with the awards being announced at thesafetys.ca.

At WorkSafely, we believe in the power of a safety leader to foster a strong culture of safety within workplaces to the betterment of the heavy construction industry.

Leadership is not just about guiding a team through day-to-day operations. It’s about setting an example, inspiring others and thinking creatively to solve complex safety challenges. Safety leaders play a pivotal role in protecting lives and promoting a workplace environment where safety is paramount and deeply integrated into every aspect of work.

To nominate a safety leader at your organization, complete the nomination form here in this week’s heavy news weekly and submit to Sarah Craig (Sarah@mhca.mb.ca) or your regional safety advisor.

Best of luck to all nominees!
