Companies looking for help to address safety and health issues at their workplace need reliable, accessible resources. Excellent resources are available from the Manitoba’s Workplace Safety and Health branch, the industry-based safety programs (IBSPs), the WCB and SAFE Work Manitoba.
SAFE Work Manitoba has created a Occupational Safety and health resource guide!
SAFE Work Manitoba offers this list of organizations that provide workplace safety and health resources and/or services as a tool to help employers and workers improve safety in their workplaces.
Occupational safety and health issues are listed along with the names of organizations (government, non-profit, private-sector companies and consultants) that offer services and resources to address the issues. Many of these organizations charge on a fee-for-service basis. In most cases, the organizations are based in Winnipeg, but many are willing to provide services outside the city.
