SAFE Work Certified is built around the safety essentials of leadership commitment, hazard identification and risk control, and worker participation.
By meeting this standard, employers who obtain SAFE Work Certified for their organization can experience benefits such as:
- lower WCB premiums over time
- improved employee engagement
- assistance in meeting legal safety requirements.
COR®/SECOR® Certified companies are eligible to receive a 15% rebate on their WCB premium or $3,000 (up to 75%) whichever is greater. This is due to the new SAFE Work Certified Standard.
