Pat Turner, former MHCA board director, leader

The MHCA extends its condolences to the family of Pat Turner, of ET Development, who passed away May 29.

“Pat was a welcomed presence on our Board of Directors – soft-spoken, accommodating and very pleasant to work with,” MHCA President & CEO Chris Lorenc said.

“We want to share with her family, business colleagues and friends in Grand Rapids and beyond, our thoughts as they mourn her passing, remembering her as a leader in the industry, her community and in provincial affairs.”

Turner served on the Board of Directors from 2011 to 2016/17, including Chair of the Northern Affairs Committee from 2012 to 2016.

She also served as chief of Misipawstik Cree Nation as well as the executive director/Grand Chief of the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak.

31 companies were recognized for their milestone membership commitments.

Matthew Neziol, of Bayview Construction, received the Safety Leader Award.
