MHCA acknowledges it is located on Treaty One land and the homeland of the Red River Metis

For 18 years, the MHCA has started Christmas with presents and treats for children in Grade 1-3 at Winnipeg’s David Livingstone School. Unfortunately, our fundraising this year has been almost eliminated due to the pandemic’s impact on our events.

We’re asking for donations to help us present Heavy Santa for David Livingstone School on December 17.

Thank you for helping to make this year’s Heavy Santa possible. We look forward to resuming in-person events in 2022!

Chair’s Gala

Close to 650pp attended from both industry, government and stakeholder partners.  It was the closing of Nicole Chabot’s two year term as Chair.  Dennis Cruise of Bituminex Paving was welcomed as the new Chair.

200 members and guests gathered to hear greetings from Premier Heather Stefanson and the newly elected Mayor of Winnipeg, Scott Gillingham. Hon. Doyle Piwniuk, Minister, Manitoba Infrastructure, handed out the MTI Awards.

31 companies were recognized for their milestone membership commitments.

Matthew Neziol, of Bayview Construction, received the Safety Leader Award.
