Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) virtual learning sessions

As you are aware, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently announced the implementation of category-based selection of newcomers eligible for Express Entry to help meet Canada’s current and future labour market needs. Ten occupations in construction, including carpenters, plumbers, welders and electricians, are included in this program.

If you want to learn more about how category-based selection works in Express Entry, including eligibility criteria and occupations for 2023 categories, please register for one of IRCC’s new virtual learning sessions on the program. Please circulate this information to your membership.
