Quarry rehab program applications open; info webinar offered

The Manitoba government announced it is opening a third intake for the Quarry Rehabilitation on Private and Municipal Land Program.

Eligible project activities include sloping and grading, moving oversized boulders and other materials, spreading overburden and topsoil, and purchasing seed to cover graded areas.

Applications will be open until June 15 and successful grant recipients will be notified in mid-July.  Approved projects must be completed by Jan. 31, 2023.

Natural Resources and Northern Development will be hosting a show-and-tell of the application process on May 26, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.
